Well, it seems that I was accepted as a Google Summer of Code Student on the WordPress project. That means that I know what I’ll mostly be doing this summer, which is coding, hacking, testing and thinking.

Basically, what I’ll be doing is making sure that if your internet connection goes down while you’re writing a post, your work is not lost, but saved in the browser’s memory. When the connection comes back up, your browser will sync with the server, and your work will be where it should be.

I welcome the challenges and the work ahead, and am really looking forward to all that will be revealed in due time.
